WHY ARE THESE TESTS SO IMPORTANT?

The PASSING of the five Georgia High School Graduation Tests (GHSGT) is 1/3 of your graduation requirements. 

(Another 1/3 is the # of credits/units; the final 1/3 is the correct courses for your selected high school diploma option.)

Additionally, our school's attainment of AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) is determined largely by students' scores on the ELA and MATH tests.

One of my goals is to ensure that every student is made aware of available resources to prepare for the Georgia High School Graduation Test. 

I'd like our SALEM SEMINOLES to be PROACTIVE instead of being REACTIVE.
